The 15th edition of the UEFA Euro™ is being hosted for the third time by France, after the 1960 inaugural tournament and the 1984 edition. France's bid was approved on May 28th 2010 and from December 12th 2015 the UEFA Euro™ 2016 groups configuration was established.

The UEFA Euro™ 2016 edition is the first to see an absolute premiere - the 24 teams format, approved in December 2013. This format will let us see 36 games in the Group Stage between June 10th and 22nd and 8 matches in the Round of 16 between June 25th and 27th. The Quarter Finals will be played between June 30th and July 3rd, the Semi Finals on July 6th and 7th while the Final will take place on Stade de France on July 10th.
